The game has no accounts, profile forms, in-app purchases, or user-generated content.
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy applies to the Watermelon Boxer Android mobile game with package identifier com.exd.watermelonboxer (the “App”). The App is developed and operated by Gross Studio (“Developer,” “we,” or “us”).
When you use the App, third-party analytics, crash-reporting, and advertising services may process data. Their own privacy policies also govern that processing. This policy web page itself does not use cookies, analytics, or external assets.
2. Data stored locally
The App stores the following values on your device using Unity PlayerPrefs:
- your high score;
- the number of completed failed attempts;
- a first-launch marker;
- music, sound, and vibration settings.
These values support gameplay progress and preferences. The Developer does not create a separate server profile from them or use them to determine your name or identity. PlayerPrefs is local application storage and is not designed for storing secrets.
3. Data processed by third-party services
Receives gameplay events such as starting an attempt, breaking a watermelon, ending a game, and advertising outcomes. Event parameters may include the attempt number, current and best score, whether a new record was set, and whether a continue was used. Firebase may also automatically process an app instance or installation identifier, Android advertising identifier where available, app version, device and operating-system information, language, and approximate region.
Receives crash reports and technical information used to find and fix errors, including stack traces, installation and session identifiers, app version, device model and characteristics, Android version, and App state at the time of a crash. A report may also include the current game screen, score, and attempt number.
Support banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads, advertising measurement, technical statistics, attribution, and fraud prevention. Depending on your device, region, settings, and consent, these SDKs may process an IP address, Android advertising identifier (GAID), device identifiers and parameters, OS version, language, connection type, mobile-network codes, installation source, ad interactions, and diagnostic information.
Information the App does not ask you to enter
The App has no forms requesting a name, email address, phone number, or payment information. It does not request access to contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or precise location. It uses network access, network-state information, vibration, and permissions introduced by the advertising and analytics SDKs.
Gameplay events sent to Firebase Analytics
game_start— an attempt starts;watermelon_hit— a watermelon is successfully broken;game_over— an attempt ends;rewarded_ad_result— the result of a continue ad;interstitial_result— the result of an interstitial ad.

4. Purposes of processing
Data is used to:
- save gameplay progress and selected settings;
- serve and measure ads, including rewards for watching an ad;
- understand gameplay performance and improve game balance;
- find, diagnose, and fix errors and crashes;
- maintain security and prevent advertising fraud;
- comply with applicable legal requirements.
Where applicable law requires consent, including for personalized advertising, the relevant processing should take place on that basis. In other cases, service providers may rely on other lawful bases described in their policies.
5. Data sharing
Technical, advertising, and analytics data may be shared with the following categories of recipients only for the purposes described above:
- Google LLC and Firebase services — analytics and crash diagnostics;
- Yandex and its advertising partners — ad delivery, measurement, and protection;
- infrastructure providers and public authorities when required by law.
Providers may process data in countries other than your own using transfer mechanisms required by applicable law. The Developer does not sell contact or payment details entered by users because the App does not request those details.
6. Retention and security
Local progress remains on the device until the App’s data is cleared or the App is removed; Android backup may affect restoration of this data. Third-party retention periods are governed by provider policies and service settings. Firebase states that Crashlytics generally retains crash information and related identifiers for 90 days before deletion begins.
The SDKs use protected network connections to transmit data. Access to analytics and diagnostic consoles is restricted, and our custom gameplay events contain no name, email address, phone number, or free-form user text. No storage or transfer method can guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and deletion
- You can delete local progress through Android Settings → Apps → Watermelon Boxer → Storage → Clear data, or by uninstalling the App.
- You can delete or reset the advertising identifier and limit ad personalization in Android’s privacy or ads settings. Menu names depend on the Android version.
- To request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or withdrawal of consent, contact the Developer below. The rights and actions available depend on applicable law and on whether a request can technically be associated with a particular App installation.
8. Children
The App is not specifically directed to children under 13 and does not ask for a date of birth. A parent or legal guardian who believes a child’s data has been processed contrary to applicable requirements may contact the Developer so that the request can be reviewed.
9. Changes to this Policy
This Policy may be updated when App functionality, connected SDKs, or legal requirements change. The current version will be published at this same address, with its effective date shown at the top of the page.
